Island Elba- with the area of 224 km2 Elba is the largest island of
the Tuscane Archipelago. It is only 10 km far from the coast of Italy and Piombino port from where
you can travel here by regular ferry lines. The capital of the island is the most important port town
Portoferrario with narrow alleys and many tourists. The second important port of the island is Porto
Azzuro with a fortress to which the most dangerous Italian prisoners, mainly Mafioso, were transported.
Capoliveri is a town with unique charm; take delight in the evening walks here! Elba is an evergreen
island with beautiful clean sea and 150 km long shore with all kinds of beaches – from sandy through
gravel to pebble beaches with reefs. The island has many sports facilities for walking tourism, cycling,
diving and water sports. The island of Elba is an ideal place to spend a summer holiday / vacation for
families with children and also sport loving tourists.

not miss the chance to visit the residence of Napoleon in Portoferrario, the remnants of the fortress
Forte della Stell, the mineralogy museum and Mount Capanne.
